Count Down to M3DE 2009!

The Melbourne 3 Day Event Committee is hard at work finalising plans for the 53rd Melbourne 3 Day Event.

This year spectators will notice a return of the short-side seating in the indoor to bring you up close to the action, as well as a new and improved site layout with expanded trade village and food court. All this, and the best riders and horse Australia has to offer at the oldest 3 Day Event in Australia. See the riders and horses wind their way through the stunning Werribee Park and Mansion grounds on cross country day or watch the dressage and show jumping from the comfort of the indoor arena.

Competitors will notice the new rider's compound, fenced off for security of horses and riders. The bar will be open from midday to midnight as a place for rider, grooms and officials to get together for a drinks and conversation. The Welcome function will be held in the Marquee on the cross country course, at the Wyndham Harbour water. Previously only open to the VIP guests, the fully heated and lit marquee will make the perfect venue for the opening night function. After cross country day, the indoor arena will come to life with music from a DJ and stories of triumph and tragedy. Bring your dancing shoes and prepare for a late night!
