M3DE Cross Country Day - June 7, 2009

On Sunday June 7, the Melbourne 3 Day Event will be running its cross country phase through the magnificent Werribee Park Mansion Grounds and State Rose Garden. In order to do so safely, the venue has changed access arrangements for this day.

All visitors to Werribee Mansion, the State Rose Garden, the Mansion Grounds and the Melbourne 3 Day Event must enter through the National Equestrian Centre entrance (Gate C). Changed conditions of entry will be clearly signed and traffic managers and volunteers will be on hand to assist you in finding your way. Elderly and disabled visitors will be able to use the courtesy bus provided to be shuttled from the National Equestrian Centre to various locations on course. Please advise gate staff if you have elderly or disabled visitors with you, and you will be directed to park near the courtesy bus pick-up point.

The Venue

The Melbourne 3 Day Event is held at the Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre (WPNEC), half an hour from Melbourne. Werribee Park is also home to fabulous tourist destinations such as the Werribee Mansion, Werribee Open Range Zoo, the stunning Mansion Gardens and Shadowfax Winery.

There is a variety of accommodation options in the area to suit every budget... Remember to book early as accommodation sells out around the Event!
